    The Şeyhandede Waterfalls, Diyarbakır

The Şeyhandede Waterfalls are located in the Çermik district, to the northwest of Diyarbakır.

These waterfalls are a well-kept secret, not even many of the locals know about their existence. This makes then something of a hidden paradise. The waters cascade from a height of 30, into a small lake. It is possible to swim in the icy waters here but it’s not for the faint-hearted! of this pond. Because so few people now about this location it remains completely unspoilt!

    The Sakçagözü Waterfalls, Gaziantep

The Sakçagözu Waterfalls are located 42 km to the west of the centre of Gaziantep on the highway that leads to Adana. In a region that gets very hot in the summer months the waterfalls are a great place to escape the heat and cool down.

The waterfalls (şelale) flows from the top of the mountain from a height of 71 m and cascade over four different caves. It is possible to swim here in the cool waters at the bottom of the falls. It’s also a great place to picnic in the shade at the edge of waters.
